Sarga Bodywork is a slow and graceful barefoot massage modality that delivers therapeutic myofascial and deep tissue work. The Sarga practitioner utilizes a fabric strap fastened to the massage table for stability and to add tensional and gravitational force to specific manual therapy methods. These methods, combined with the broad contact surface of the foot facilitate less restriction and more ease and relaxation in recipients’ bodies. Sarga Bodywork is unique in its potential to create structural change and healing in the body while deeply soothing the nervous system at the same time.
Because this is a very slow-moving modality that can't be rushed - the fascia releases at it's own pace - we highly recommend at least a 90-minute session. 60 minutes is great if you just want to try the modality or have a few specific areas you'd like to focus on. If you want a truly full-body experience, go for the two-hour session - trust us, it won't feel like two hours have gone by!
New Mama Massage
Designed to take all the stress out of getting a massage when you have little ones. A flexible start time means you're never late and you'll always get your full time on the table. Can be gentle and nurturing or deep and therapeutic, whatever you're needing that day. Postpartum massage can help your body adjust and recover after giving birth and gives you a much-needed moment for yourself. Breast support pillow available for nursing mamas.
Prenatal massage is amazing support for your body as it supports a growing life. Helps address the changes your body is going through and alleviate common pregnancy discomforts. Pillows and props are used to create comfortable positioning for your body.
Massage for trauma recovery and sensitive individuals. Patient, nurturing, and accepting touch that moves at your own pace can help facilitate your body releasing, processing, and healing from trauma (physical or emotional) and allow your nervous system to settle and perhaps find new and more resilient connections. I have been deeply honored to work with many clients over the years who were recovering from serious illness, surgery, or an accident, going through a challenging life transition or emotional event, or who were just wired to be more sensitive than most. I will always do my best to honor your journey, accommodate your needs, and hold space for you to let go.
Hot Stone Massage
Smoothly polished Basalt stones of various sizes are heated and placed on the body, glided over the skin using oil, and can be used to apply deeper pressure to tight muscles or trigger points. The soothing and penetrating heat, along with the smooth weight of the stones, melts away tension and can be deeply relaxing and restoring to mind and body.
